The Hyundai 6F24 transmission has been installed on SsangYong vehicles since 2013. In most cases in the CIS countries, this transmission is found on New Actyon vehicles. With the growing popularity of importing cars from the USA, 6F35 can be found on Dodge Dart, Jeep Compass, Patriot MK cars.Structurally, the 6F24 transmission is identical to the A6MF1 transmission, and most of the internal parts are interchangeable, but at the same time, the transmissions have a number of parts that differ from each other.
Let us onsider the differences between the rear transmission housing covers.
The lcovers are very similar in shape and size. At the top of the hole, the bolt connections are identical. The only difference is the location of the oil channel hole on the inside of the cover.
The main differences are at the bottom of the part.
Cover A6MF1, has a longer lower part and, accordingly, the distance between the centers of the mounting holes is greater than in the rear cover of the 6F24 transmission, pay attention to this before buying a spare part.
