CVTs of the 0AW series (VL380 VL381) - the second generation of CVI CVTs, since 2004 they are installed on the Audi A4, A5, A6 and A7 with engines up to 3 liters.
During the operation of the mechanical part of the transmission, wear occurs not only on moving and electronic parts, but also on the housing, namely the seat of the housing bearing - due to shock loads, the bearing breaks the hole and turns, often every overhaul of such boxes is accompanied by a housing repair, this problem is relevant for all age transmissions.
The repair technology is simple:
- Boringing a hole to the size of the repair sleeve
- Install the steel repair sleeve
- Boring the bushing to the size of the original bearing
Getting down. We fix the case on the coordinate boring machine and bore a hole for the diameter of the repair sleeve.

We apply glue-fixer on the surface of the housing for the cylindrical joints and install the sleeve
